Invite your friends and family to this outdoor event.  Our desire is to remind our community that the Lord Jesus Christ was born to die to save us from our sins.  He humbled himself and was born in a manger. 

Bring some warm clothes and settle in next to one of our warm fires; sing and enjoy the simple message of the reason God came down at Christmas.

Following we will come inside to warm up and enjoy some delicious refreshments!

Annual Couples Retreat in Mystic, CT

God has a special plan for marriage and His intent for every home is to be a reflection of Christ and the church. Today’s busy lifestyle can place great strain on even the best home and that is why I believe this retreat will be an encouragement to every couple. Happy homes are not an accident, they are the result of hard work. Every believer must make their home their number one priority! 

The Annual Couples Retreat hosted by Central Baptist Church will be held on November 17 & 18, at the Mystic Hilton in Mystic, Connecticut.

$145/Couple, includes hotel and sessions.

For an additional pre-retreat night on Thursday or an additional post-retreat night on Saturday, it is an additional $115 for each evening.

If you would like to register without accommodations at the Mystic Hilton, a registration fee of $35 covers your share of the retreat expenses.

Church Fellowship & Charity Dinner

Join us after Morning Worship for our Quarterly Church Fellowship Dinner.  Each family brings a dish to share as we eat and fellowship together.  After we will meet for testimonies and prayer and we will not have an Evening Worship Service.

The early church had meals like this often as they would spend much of the Lord's Day together before traveling home in the afternoon.  If you are a visitor please consider joining us for the entire day!

New Hope Correctional Ministries Fundraising Banquet

Join us for a wonderful evening of testimony and worship of the Lord Jesus Christ as well as great food and fellowship with like-minded believers from throughout New England.  Please be ready to be generous to the help of this ministry whether in a one-time gift or on a month basis.

The purpose of New Hope Correctional Ministry is:

1. To provide comprehensive, non-denominational Chaplain services to a correctional facility(s) by providing spiritual care to the resident inmates, staff, public officials, and to the community that the facility serves.

2. To provide the good news of salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to those being served and to instruct and disciple these resident inmates to a new life of hope and service.

3. To provide practical assistance, care and spiritual guidance to selected resident inmates upon release.

4. To provide any and all desired support to selected released inmates and their families as determined by the Board of Directors in line with the charitable purposes of the corporation.

Dr. Phil Stringer is a long-time friend of Dayspring Bible College & Seminary, having served on it’s Board of Directors for the last three years and has taught for Dayspring for the last nine years. He comes to us with a wide array of experience and accomplishments.  He has been in full-time ministry for 39 years and has served as a youth pastor, evangelist, college professor and administrator, and pastor. He is an active Bible conference speaker having spoken at over 400 churches, colleges, and schools in 46 states and 16 countries. He has taught courses at 21 colleges, was the former president of a Bible college in Florida, and served as Pastor at Ravenswood Baptist Church for the last ten years. He also has written 5 books, 16 booklets, 22 college course curriculums, 5 high school curriculums and 1 elementary school curriculum and he serves on several college and mission boards. He has a Masters degree in Christian education from Freedom University in 1980, Doctor of Philosophy degree in English Bible from Landmark Baptist College in 1997, Doctor of Religious Education degree from the American Bible College in 2004, Honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity by the Asia Baptist Bible College in 2002, and Honorary degree of Doctor of Literature by the American Bible College in 2002. In 2007, he was awarded the Heritage Baptist University Alumni educator of the year award.
